This Privacy Policy explains how My Latin Love collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our dating and communication services.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, including your email address, password credentials, profile details, language preference, photos, location details, messages, hot list activity, support tickets, feedback, and account-deletion requests.
2. Profile and Discovery Information
Your visible profile information may include your first name, age, gender, seeking preference, city, country, tagline, bio, appearance details, hobbies, languages, online status, photos, and other information you choose to provide. This information is used to show your profile to potential matches.
3. Location Information
If you provide location information, we may use city, country, latitude, and longitude to power local discovery and distance-based features. You can control device-level location permissions through your mobile operating system.
4. Communications
We process messages, read status, notifications, support requests, and feedback so users can communicate and so we can operate safety, moderation, support, and abuse-prevention systems.
5. Payments
Memberships and boosts may be processed by payment providers such as Stripe. We receive payment status, transaction references, plan or boost type, amount, and related metadata. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
6. Device, Log, and Usage Data
We may collect technical information such as device identifiers, push notification tokens, IP address, authentication activity, API usage, crash or error data, and timestamps. We use this information to secure accounts, prevent abuse, deliver notifications, troubleshoot issues, and improve the service.
Optional Website and Android Analytics
With your analytics consent, we use Google Analytics and Google Analytics for Firebase to understand website visits, download-link clicks, app screens and product actions, onboarding, and checkout outcomes. We send controlled event categories, app and device information collected by the provider, and permitted campaign information. On Android, a pseudonymous account identifier may connect consented activity to the same account. We do not send your name, email address, messages, profile details, search text, or dating preferences as analytics event parameters. Advertising identifiers, Google Signals, and advertising personalization are disabled in this implementation.
Optional website analytics uses cookies after consent. Website consent preferences and analytics cookies expire after 180 days. Google Analytics event retention is configured to 14 months. Android stores your analytics choice separately from login information; signing out does not grant consent to another account.
You can refuse or withdraw optional analytics through the website footer or Android Settings. Withdrawal stops optional collection, removes optional acquisition and installation mappings, and queues deletion requests for linked Android account and app-instance identifiers. Requesting account deletion also withdraws this consent. Provider processing takes additional time; anonymous aggregate counts and operational payment records may remain. Website withdrawal clears analytics cookies but does not identify or recall previously processed website events.
7. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Create and maintain accounts and profiles.
- Show potential matches, local results, hot list activity, and profile details.
- Send messages, read receipts, email verification, password reset, deletion, support, and push notifications.
- Process memberships, boosts, free-access periods, promo codes, refunds, and payment reconciliation.
- Moderate content, enforce policies, investigate abuse, improve safety, and comply with legal obligations.
- Analyze performance, fix bugs, and improve product features.
8. Sharing Information
We share information with other users as part of the service, with service providers that support hosting, storage, email, push notifications, payments, analytics, moderation, and support, and with authorities or third parties when required by law, safety, fraud prevention, or rights protection.
9. Data Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain payment records, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms. Account data may be retained for a limited period after a deletion request before permanent removal, subject to legal and safety exceptions.
10. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee perfect security, so you should use a strong password and protect your account credentials.
11. Your Choices
You may update profile information, manage app permissions, unsubscribe from certain communications where available, request account deletion, or contact us about privacy questions. Some information may remain where required for legal, safety, payment, or fraud-prevention reasons.
12. Children
My Latin Love is only for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly allow minors to create accounts or use the service.
13. International Use
Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. By using the service, you understand that privacy and data protection laws may vary by jurisdiction.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted here with a new effective date.
